Biography

Pietro Ferrario is an Italian musician born in Busto Arsizio on November 3, 1967.

At the age of ten, he began his musical studies with Mariateresa Nebuloni (piano) and Gino Jelo (harmony), and after graduating from scientific high school, he obtained diplomas in piano (1990) and composition (1993) at the Brescia Conservatory, organ (1995) at the "G. Verdi" Conservatory of Milan, choir conducting (2003) at the "A. Vivaldi" Conservatory of Alessandria, studying under the guidance of Lucia Romanini (piano), Bruno Bettinelli (composition) and Luigi Molfino (organ). He specialized in composition with Azio Corghi in Parma and Siena (diploma of merit at the Accademia Chigiana), in film music with Ennio Morricone (also at the Accademia Chigiana), in organ with Lionel Rogg, Giancarlo Parodi and others. He also attended various seminars in vocal technique and choir conducting by Stephan Woodbury, Gary Graden and Tõnu Kaljuste.
